Founded in 1953
Whether you’re looking to scale granite peaks, master the art of a perfect campfire cobbler, or build the leadership skills that last a lifetime, Troop 152 in Dixon is where the journey begins. Our Troop has been serving the Dixon community for over 70 years.
As a Family Troop, we believe the path to Eagle Scout is one best traveled together. We proudly welcome both young men and young women (ages 11–17) into a program that balances grit with community and tradition with innovation.
Why Troop 152?
In Dixon, we’re known for more than just our neckerchiefs—we’re known for building "The Dixon Standard" of character. Here’s what makes our unit special:
Inclusive Environment: We operate as a family troop structure, allowing brothers, sisters, and friends to participate in the same high-adventure program while earning their way toward Scouting's highest honors.
Youth-Led Adventure: Our Scouts don't just follow a schedule; they create it. From backpacking the Sierras to local service projects right here in Dixon, the Scouts are in the driver’s seat.
Skills for Life: We teach the "big three"—Leadership, Outdoor Ethics, and Self-Reliance. Whether it’s first aid or financial management, our Scouts learn by doing.
Join the Adventure
We meet regularly to plan our next escape into the great outdoors. If you’re ready to trade screen time for trail time and find a community that feels like family, Troop 152 has a spot saved for you at the campfire.
The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling within them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
